How Ritello Works

The Ritello R2 doesn’t just vacuum — it transforms your air. Here’s exactly how the water-filtration process works, step by step.

Nature's way to cleaner indoor air

Air close to the ocean or mountains feels fresher and cleaner than city air. That’s because nature uses water to cleanse the atmosphere. The Ritello replicates this process — inside your home, every time you clean.

01

Suction & Air Intake

Dirty air, dust, hair, and debris are drawn in through the Ritello’s high-performance motor — one of the most powerful in the premium segment, rated for 20,000+ hours of flawless operation with no degradation in suction power.

02

Water Filtration Stage

All contaminants pass through the illuminated water basin. Particles — including bacteria, pollen, PM2.5, pet dnder, dust mites, and mould spores — are captured and permanently held in water. They cannot escape back into your air.

03

HEPA H14 Post-Filter

Air then passes through a HEPA H14 certified post-filter — the same standard used in hospital operating theatres — capturing any remaining ultrafine particles down to 0.3 microns (0.0003mm) with 99.97% efficiency.

04

Purified Air Returned

Clean, filtered air is returned to your room — measurably cleaner than when it entered. The Ritello can also operate as a standalone continuous air purifier, cleaning your home’s atmosphere even when you’re not actively vacuuming.

05

Programmable Modes

The LED display lets you select the right mode for each surface: Air, Drape, Sofa, or Carpet. The Ritello automatically adjusts motor speed and suction power to deliver optimal cleaning performance on every surface type.

06

Easy Maintenance

After each use, simply empty and rinse the water basin. No bags to replace. The water basin uses a one-handed turn-lock mechanism clean and reseal in seconds, with zero spillage risk.

The problem with bag & filter systems

Most conventional vacuums rely on paper or fabric bags to trap dirt. But these systems have a fundamental flaw: as the bag fills, suction weakens. Fine particles — the ones most harmful to respiratory health — pass straight through and recirculate into your air.

The bag cycle never ends

Every bag-based vacuum you buy will cost you continuously — in replacement bags, in replacement HEPA filters, and eventually in replacement motors that wear out faster due to the resistance created by a full bag. The average Australian household spends over $200 per year just on vacuum consumables.

What the Ritello eliminates forever

  • No replacement bags — ever
  • No loss of suction as you clean
  • No fine particle recirculation
